The annual Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland Conference is taking place in the Galway Bay Hotel on the 27th and 28th of March. I am looking forward to attending. The theme for the conference this year is ’50 years-a-Growing’ since the Association is celebrating its 50 birthday. It will be interesting to reflect on the history of OT in Ireland during the conference. I am also looking forward to meeting with colleagues and learning and discussing about innovative work in Occupational Therapy. There will also be an exhibition of various activities of daily living equipment and an opportunity for both therapists and the public to try it out. You can review the conference scheduled exhibition times on the AOTI website at www.aoti.ie.
